Grid connection is the most technically complex aspect of utility-scale solar. We supply pad-mount and skid-mount MV/HV transformers (11kV, 33kV, 66kV), ring main units (RMU), HV switchgear, and protection relays — all coordinated with Transpower and local lines company requirements for NZ grid connection.

Transformer ratings: 315kVA–50MVA. Voltage: 11kV, 33kV, 66kV. Cooling: ONAN/ONAF. Losses: AS/NZS 60076 compliant. RMU: SF6 or vacuum, 12kV–36kV. Protection relays: IEC 61850 GOOSE messaging. Switchgear: IEC 62271-200 compliant. Enclosure: IP54 minimum.
