Solar farm civil works require specialised materials not available from standard building suppliers. We supply helical and driven ground screws for racking foundations (no concrete required), security perimeter fencing, cable ducting and conduit systems, earthing conductors, and site access road materials — all suited to NZ's varied soil conditions.
Key Specifications
Ground screws: hot-dip galvanised steel, 76mm–168mm OD, 1.5m–3m length, torque-installed. Security fencing: 2.4m high, 358 anti-climb mesh, galvanised or powder-coated. Cable ducting: HDPE corrugated, 50mm–200mm diameter. Earthing: bare copper tape 25×3mm, copper-clad rods. Signage: AS/NZS 1319 compliant.
Applications
Complete civil materials packages for greenfield solar farm construction. Ground screw foundations are preferred in NZ for speed of installation, minimal ground disturbance, and suitability for pastoral land that must be returned to agricultural use at end of project life.
